The Crows shall Feast … brief review of “A Feast For Crows” R R Martin

A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, #4)A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fourth installment of A Song of Ice and Fire. This was my second time reading this book. In preparation for Winds of Winter, I realized that I need to re-read this one and Dance with Dragons as I forgot many details.

Where the first 3 books are pretty straight forward with the Stark unraveling the war of kings breaking out, this book deals with the aftermath.

I very much enjoyed the developments in Aria’s, Brienne’s, Cercei’s and the Greyjoys … although I do miss Tyrion and the wolf.

The story is getting evermore complicated and many more new characters are introduced.

As a testament to R R Martin’s skill, the book was as enjoyable second time around as it was the first time I read it. The scenery and character development is exceptional.

Martin’s ability to grab the attention of the reader and not let go across many books is exceptional.

As I tell many of my friends, if you start reading these books … say good bye to your life… nothing will matter, but getting to the next page!!!
